Likes: Every person and dog that I meet, carrying my toys around, muddy walks, food, cwtches on the sofa, lots of attention, meeting and playing with other dogs.

My Story

I was surrendered to Many Tears Animal Rescue as a puppy because my breeder couldn't sell me. I had bilateral ectopic ureters which meant I was born urinary incontinent. The rescue arranged surgery to fix the problem when I was 5 months old but it went wrong and I nearly died. I was rushed to a specialist for more surgery which was a success. I was adopted by my humans when I was 6 months old and with the help of some regular medication and some daily routines, I am no longer incontinent.

I am a typical golden retriever, I love EVERYTHING, I love it when we meet dogs on walks and I especially love it when dogs come to stay. I'm happy for dogs to cuddle up to me or share my bed if they need a bit of company and I love sharing my toys with them and playing. I like to parade around with my toys in my mouth, especially when greeting the humans. Mum says I'm the friendliest, cuddliest, happiest dog she's ever had.
